A friend at Clemson in 1971 introduced me to the Kristopherson and The Silver Tounged Devil albums that we listened to over and over while studying. After graduation Kris became a favorite of our group of game goers in the mid '70s. Out of Sight, Out of Mind was a theme song. "Brothers tip the bottle back and climb aboard the bus." In our case it was a 1977 Ford van fondly named the Blue Goose. "If you ain't bombed in Birmingham, you ain't one of us," Kris sang with a chorus of Clemson fans joining in while we celebrated the reemergence of the Tigers! Kris was the first inductee in the Blue Goose Hall of Fame!

about the Johnny Cash Show that aired in the late 60's / early 70's. KK was the narrator. When I saw KK had passed, I googled him on my cell phone. Didn't realize his country music history. He was country music STALWART for sure!
