To our competitors . They gotta hate these newest Clemson icons . You want one word ?
How about " FOFULUS " .... and if it sounds a lot like fabulous it's because they are , and we are by proxy.

Wow and sad. I want Clemson to always have the best, and I'll continue to give to do my small part of making sure it does. But where does this arms race end? I can't imagine what will exist in 10-20 years.

I don't like what College Football has become either. Big Business, lots of money, pretty much pro sports... and judging by attendance lately, I must be the only one.
I was talking to a guy who played football for Clemson in the early 1960's about the same thing and he said every player on one of their teams was from SC and they played both sides of the ball. When I compare that to Michigan's satellite camps I see College football as I loved it fading away.
I'll really hate it if we spend $50 million and don't win another NC! Go Dabo! Go Tigers!

I hope the non-athletic students enjoy:

- their free time.......daily, weekly, monthly.
- not having mandatory study hall first full year, and full time from then on if GPA is under 2.7.
- going home when they want.
- not having 5am wake up, and workouts 5 days a week.
- not having to answer to someone when you miss/skip a class
Yes, as athletes, they get a lot, but don't think for a second they did give a lot in return.

The big thing many forget is the football players are gambling with their health and even those who graduate healthy will have injuries they will feel for years.
You don't get anything for nothing, the players sacrifice their health for Clemson not counting the workout time and pain.

If they didn't want to do all that, they could just not join the team. I did not choose to not be athletic, so why should I have to suffer for the choices other people made?

You're not suffering (the only people suffering are people that read this garbage).
Quite trying to make this about you. And, quit crying and complaining about something these players will have access to. They give a lot and also bring a lot of recognition to the university that's invaluable.
As much as you didn't chose to be athletic, I hope others don't chose to be a brat as you have.

I personally think that it is nice that a small portion of the facility will be open to fans.

A lot fans are heavily vested in the program. I think it's a perfect balance too, letting on some of the facilities be open to the fans.
Dabo once again proves he gets it.

Hmm, sounds like someone does not like athletes. Maybe because you were picked on in high school perhaps? And now all you can do is sit on your computer and be so miserable that you have to bash one of the greatest things to ever come to Clemson football? If you dont want to be on the train then jump the he!! off please.

LOL! I was looking at those big glass windows that looked relatively close to the bottom of our Hill replica. Did anyone else notice that? They may have to put padding up like behind the basket in gymnasiums to keep people from bouncing off the glass, or worse, going through it!
