Remember that game and all the pass interference call against Clemson and nothing against Pitt. That had to be the worst called game I ever attended.

I remember all of those pass interference calls as well. It was later discovered that the referee was actually a coot! Now I see that same referee is a ref in the NFL. No wonder the NFL officiating is so bad!

I was sitting beside another fan from the midlands that day. He said he went to church with him in Cootlumbia and verified that he was definitely a coot. Luckily that game didn’t hurt us at all but I believe every Tiger left that evening wit a bitter taste in their mouth. Refs were pulling the flag from their pants before the ball was even close to the receivers.

I remember getting gashed all day by the shovel pass to James Connor. That dude is still toting the rock as a starting Rb in the NFL.

I thought it was the TE shovels.

But I’m old and memory isn’t what it used to be

Was that the game where Mike ran down the corner after a pick

Probably would have won the 2015 championship if he hadn’t hurt his neck on the goal post in the Wofford game.

If so, he likely would have left that year and we don't win the 2016 natty.***

If Eddie Jackson didn’t get hurt in the SEC championship game Bama probably wins in 2016. Those teams were so even so it’s probably right for each to get one.

ball. The 5 foot 9 Pitt DBs had no chance to defend him. Had we just thrown the ball to him on either 3rd and 1 or 4th and 1 at the end of the game we woulda easily gotten the first down and run out the clock.

But all’s well that ends well we ended up with the Natty that’s all that mattered.

What also mattered was Michigan and I think Washington lost that day as well.

Nobody could stop him.

If I remember right we needed about 10 more yards to set up the game winning field goal.

It was 4th down and no one could stop Mike Williams for those short 5 yard passes in the middle of the field. He looked like an adult playing street football with 8 year old kids.

I knew on 4th down they would give him another easy 5 yard catch over the middle and we would eventually set up the game winning field goal.

But they called a run instead and the game was over.

What I remember about that game was the TE shovel pass we didn't figure out how to defend until the second half.

BV was so pissed on the sidelines.... get back coach had his work cut out for him that day more than baseline BV.

Jimmy Green Beans didn't foreshadow that wrinkle during the week in game prep.
