Bernhard Langer, age 67, just missed the cut at the Masters by one stroke.
And, it was heartbreaking. Needing a par on 18, he rolled a 10 footer across the lip, missing the cut by 1/2 inch.
As I type, Fred Couples, 65, needs to birdie 18 to make the cut. Not likely, but possible.
Let's hear it for the geezers!

The masters telecast is great always, but, nanze gushing over someone who hasn't won since mid 90's, has no appeal to the American masses, and waste 5 minutes following him on walk to club house is a bit much, don't you think?

its a bit much but they are college teeammates and it is Freddie. But he will find someone else to overhype. It is todays media. At least he isnt doing sports bet commercials.

as I remember them in their prime. I'll admit that Nance does lay on the praise pretty thick, but they were both top golfers in their day.
