I say Injuries.
This amount of injuries would cripple any team in the country. Every other team would be in a similar position with regards to how far down the depth chart they'd have to go.
There isn't an unlimited amount of players you can have on your roster you know.

NO doubt the OL injuries have hurt us.
BUT....If we carried an OL room (18±) like our peers....you'd have more to pull from. A bit more insurance
With OL so difficult to project coming out of HS, injuries, etc.....like the old saying goes...you can never have too much OL

Nailed it. You really can't tell. 2018 was our best offensive line ever, and consisted of a 2 star, 2 3 stars, a 4 star, and a 5 star. Injuries aren't really an excuse for a lack of depth.

Tell me you know nothing about football without telling me.
First, it's 105 now.
Second, that is the usual number of offensive linemen on a roster. Alabama has 21 offensive linemen on roster. Oregon has 22. Texas has 20. Georgia has 20. Ohio State has 17, but they use 2 tight ends and has 8 of them. And drum roll, we have 22. To keep that many offensive linemen on roster, you need to sign 5-7 each year, depending on expected attrition.

I love how the Dabo fan-boys constantly prove they know nothing about football. As I already went through, Alabama, Georgia, Ohio State, Oregon, and even we have 18+ offensive line on their roster. I don't know of any top 25 team that doesn't.

I hope that Dabo will also allow one of the backup QBs start and play the game bc I don't see risking Cade's health with a thrown together OL. If we can beat the Citadel without risking our #1's, go for it bc it isn't like this will be our 1st game of the season where we need all our starters playing in a tune up game. I say if all backups and walk-on can beat the Citadel, put them in the game and let them play. Or start whoever of our #1s as possible and let them score a couple TDs on the Citadel then strip the offense and defense of all starters and allow the 3s, 4s, and walk-ons take it from there. If they can't handle the Citadel, replace them with whatever player we have available that can. There are times where you have to do whatever you can do, and the Citadel game is one of those time with our team beat and banged up the way that it's in right now...

So which of these guys will actually be back by the S Carolina game? Leigh, Tate, Thurman? Any of them? We can beat The Citadel with the walk-on O-line, but we're not holding up against South Carolina's pass rush unless we're dang near close to 100% healthy along the front line.

Can he be disciplined enough to not commit false start penalties?
I’d hate to see Peter Woods playing snaps on the OL except for 4th and short or key 3rd and short downs when a ‘jumbo’ package is called for.

I say empty the bench on Saturday. Let's see Dominic Cardone (6-9, 365) and Sam Judy (6-5, 315) get some reps.
David Hood mentioned Cardone looking like a "house" in the spring, when they reported him at 380.
