Monte needs to get thrown out of a game

When we keep getting screwed he just walks out and doesn't ever get mad. I think the maddest I've ever seen him was against Usuck in GM1. Henderson gets thrown out bc his momentum took him near the catcher. Monte comes out to argue and just say oh come on then nothing, just walks back in the dug out. I wish he would go off on one of these umps bc these ACC umps seem to screw us EVERY game with some kind of interference call or some phantom call. Don't even get me started on the strike zones with some of these guys. Really wish CML would just go off on one of these umps maybe we will start to get a little respect and fire the team up at the same time bc we keep getting screwed with these weird calls.

Maybe but still an angry man for sure.
Also how do I ask the broadcasters? Anyone have TB's # number?

It was the right call

He stepped out of the box after the swing and into the path of the catcher. Bad luck there, but thats the right call.

It’s not bad luck when it happens all the time. I’ve seen this call made against montes Clemson teams over and over.

Disagree - I played college ball and although I’m certainly not an umpire I think it was tick tacky. Ended up being irrelevant but I don’t think it was the right call. I was a catcher so I don’t have any “hitter bias” on this.
Respect your opinion but mine is just different.

I just think that it is happen so often its starting to get annoying AF. We are always on the wrong side of these ticky tack calls and odd calls like GM2 inning 1. It seems like its every game we have one odd call by the ump.

He stepped barely out of the box, his contact had no effect on the throw. The catcher double clutching before he threw the ball is what caused the runner to be safe not Henderson accidentally bumping into him.

Two different questions
Mar 8, 2020, 3:02 PM
|
|
Do I think it made a difference, nope. Do I think it met the criteria for interference? Absolutely.
He stepped put of the box toward the plate, the catcher stepped through and sold it. That's interference by rule.
This is much like yesterday where everyone was up in arms about the "worst call ever" on the runner's interference on us in the 1st inning. It was the right call by rule, and there's no reason for Monte to get tossed on the right call being made.

Is rarely the fault of the umpire.

Pretty simple really. If you get timely hits and drive in runs the umpire becomes less of a factor in the Game. Akin to making baskets in basketball!. You aren’t likely to see me calling any tnetter ugly names. I’ve outgrown that fault!

NOW THAT'S WHAT I WANNA SEE! Go all Bobby Cox on his ###! It gets the team fired up and shows you have their back. Wish we could see more of this.
