Ryann Day, Dave Dorren, and Paul Finebuam all put together?
I never had any issue with Coach Kelly. He wasn't my favorite but I had nothing against him.
Then I heard the other day that he basically got a kid killed at Notre Dame. Not on purpose, but he put the kids life needlessly in danger. The kids name was Declan Sullivan. Have any of you heard about this?

He held practice outdoors on a high wind advisory day when they had an indoor facility. He then, from what I understand, threatened the kid's job when Sullivan declined to get on the scissor lift because he felt it was too dangerous. Coach Kelly needed him to videotape practice. The scissor lifts like that are not supposed to be used when winds are 25mph or higher, and they were 50mph that day. Sullivan reluctantly got on the scissor lift to videotape the practice. He then tweeted that he was probably going to die today from the lift.

If those details are correct, there is no defense on Coach Kelly's part. If those details are correct was the lawsuit against the coach and the school settled, or is it still pending?

Kelly is not a scumbag, he just has no personality and rubs people the wrong way. Some people confuse charisma with being a good person, who is not always the case. I can think of one great example.

Good point on charisma.
I think with Declan Sullivan the issue is that Kelly as the leader of the ND football team put him in harms way unnecessarily. In industry there would be an EHS rep or other party there to safeguard employees against this kind of behaviour.

Look let's be very clear on who is the biggest scumbag in all sports pertaining athletes in men's, women's, little boy's, little girls or mixed together with men, women, boys and girls, there isn't a worse person than Paul Finebaum...
It doesn't even come close when throwing Ryann Day, Dave Dorren, and Brian Kelly all 3 together in against just Paul Finebaum. IMO Finebaum wins the SCUMBAG AWARD hands down, and that's even when comparing him against all other known scumbags bc Paul Finebaum is without question a Master Scumbag!!!

Dave Doreon is totally your typical a**hole, he’s just the coach for NC State for some reason.
He blames others. He is like Eeyore from Winnie the Pooh. I don’t think he will ever make an attempt to be positive about anything.
The others are all equal because they all display low morals and low self-dignity
They don’t stick to anything internally, they have all let money control their careers

He claimed Notre Dame wasn’t a place he could win a championship at. At least compared to LSU with their money, recruiting, and conference.
And LSU probably does have more external resources
But What’s funny is Notre Dame just made it to a national championship and didn’t embarrass themselves

Different coach from what Dabo is, but you can see Freeman has a good future with how he bring people together. And that’s similar to what Terry Don Philips saw in Dabo.

Yes Brian Kelly got that man killed, plain and simple. High winds, up on a lift to film practice. High risk situation and the man should have never been told to go up there.
However if we're talking biggest scumbag of all time in CFB, Joe Paterno, Jerry Sandusky and all of State Penn and Happy Valley need to rot in ####!! They supported systemic pedophilia for decades. I lost all faith in NCAA when they didn't hand down the death penalty to State Penn, and Feds lock up most of the employees who knew, including local police and campus folks. Whole town is sick!

One of my best friends while playing at Clemson was tight end Neil Pendry. He was a red headed, 6'4" 240 lb. tight end from Pennsylvania. Pretty good ball player. He was totally anti-everything and somewhat of a hippie back in the 60's and actually ended up in San Francisco in the middle of the Jesus Freak movement on Haight-Ashbury before getting his life straightened out and becoming a prolific author.
Anyway, Neil told me a Joe Paterno story one evening as we sat in the jock dorm listening to Cream and CCR. He said that on his recruiting trip to Penn State, he was paired with their All American tight end Ted Kwalick, who escorted him around campus for a day. He said Kwalick came right out and told him: "Do not come here, Neil. You seem like a nice guy, so I gotta tell ya, Coach Paterno is crazy. He is the total opposite of what people see in the media and is a sadistic madman at practice and the assistants are worse than he is." Coming from Allentown, PA, Pendry had already decided to go to Penn State but Neil took Kwalick's advice and came to Clemson instead.
Looking back at what happened years later at Penn State, it all makes sense.
