Stanford is not a good pitching team but they are decent at hitting. The schedule gets much harder after this weekend. Let's get the sweep! Go Tigers!

Pocono. Agree with your assessment. Stanford, as you know are in a major slump. But it was only a few weeks ago that they were ranked. So a lot of people pre-season felt they were going to be a good team. That just doesn't mean they dissappear. Saying, people will look at their schedule and think it should be a cakewalk... but I think it'll be anything but. I'd honestly be happy with a series win.
That said, it'd be a great weekend for us to break out of our mini slump in hitting. I am a firm believer that this team definitely has Omaha potential, and perhaps a deep Omaha run. But we haven't reached our potential. Will priest become a hitting machine as expected? Will Cam ever get off 1 homerun? When will paino and ciufo become a threat to at least put pressure on a defense? Realize paino is our rbi leader... but the free passes are fixing to become rare as we get into our schedule. Will we be able to hit?

We're definitely all waiting for them to go off. Surely they are better than how they've played so far. The team has Omaha potential but the bats gotta warm up.

The McCladdie/Crighton/Bissetta RF platoon has disappointed in that none of them have emerged offensively. All three have sub-.400 OBP and Bissetta, for all of his raw pop, has just a .384 SLG and Ks often.
We're getting virtually nothing from our freshmen bats, which is kind of alarming.

This. McCladdie is streaky, Crighton hasn’t shown much recently. In my opinion, I’d like to give bisetta one more chance, if he can’t come through, I would be okay with the team throwing TP Wentworth in there, if nothing else, for the longevity of the program

Getting nothing from our freshman bats because none of them are playing. A lot of redshirts and that class has some big guys in it with some big bats.
