Simpson has gotten a lot of praise

And deservedly so he’s a beast, but I honestly think Barrett Carter has a chance to go down as one of the best LB to play at Clemson he’s freakishly athletic. His athleticism paired with Woodazs physicality is going to be a problem

I'll be honest, not sure if Simpson can play carter's position but I'd try switching them for Miami and playing woodaz some more snaps. May have to if Simpson not back... but even if he is, I might switch them this week.
Goodwin needs to get a couple going or sit a couple on the pine. Can't argue with the effort or the dub but we're still having too many mistakes..

Trotter too, Simpson is a Jr but unless he pulls a Power Ranger's move I don't see him in college next year. Someone will grab him in the 2-4rd range in the draft if not higher. He's just too tempting of a specimen, like Simmons was.

I said it yesterday and I'll say it again here. This linebacking corps of Simpson, Carter and Trotter is by far the best our Tigers have fielded in years and could possibly end up of of the top groups ever here. All 3 players have a great shot of playing Sundays if they can reach their potential, they all have the talent.

If you're referring to me, no, not even close. Now for my question to you. Name me 3 backers that were here at the same time that were better at this point than the three we have now. Clemson has had some great ones, and some very good combinations, but I don't remember a trio with this much talent all at the same time. I'd be happy to be proven wrong.

Yeah, gonna have to disagree there. Watkins was pretty good, Billie was a flash and Waters was good, I still feel these three are better over all, we'll see when they graduate/get drafted. Did waters play more than a year? I know he had one big year but I don't seem to remember much before that.

But if you are going to make such claims I would suggest you have sufficient knowledge to substantiate. As a guide to learning I would suggest you study "CLEMSON LINEBACKERS OF THE MID TO LATE '80S". That's where I would start if I were you.

See this kind of back and forth I can get behind. Kirkland and Mcdaniel were great, zero argument there. I was referring to all three though. I cant argue with just those two though, not sure anyone could.
