Asst. Head Coach / Co-Def. Coordinator titles with a lot of money, but I wouldn't say it could never happen. Nor do I think it should right now other than for the recruiting he can do. Sakerliner still living off of the talent he brought in down there.

Anything's possible and with the right offer it could happen, but I don't see Clemson as his next spot. He will be a sought after DC over the next couple of months. He probably won't be a HC unless it's at a small school.

that's who we should hire as defensive co...but it won't happen. He can get a DC job in SEC and he isn't going to share that job with anyone. He should have never left Carolina but wanted to be a HC before he retired. Not every great assitant makes a great HC...ex Tommy West, Stockstill etc

I am a huge fan of Stockstill and hated to see him leave here ...but his overall record is 43-43 as a head coach for the past 7 years. Hopefully they are on their way but having only 3 winning seasons out of 7 isnt what I would expect here!

We should not ever hire him, been there done that. By the way he failed as the HC at the Citadel years ago, he will never get another chance as a HC.

yeah...but we might as well close this shop...he isn't coming to clemson. Too many other offers already on the table and he would have to make more than $700,000 a year to even look at it due to his buyout at Southern
