Saturday. It didn't paint a pretty picture of student and fan support. Also, I noticed there hardly anyone in the upper deck. What is up with that?!?

The hill was full of children having the thrill of a lifetime, sliding down the hill on a sheet of cardboard. The favorite place in years long ago was the northwest corner before it was closed in. I wish I could have joined them, but had I done so, would probably still be in the hospital recovering from bruised limbs and an inflated ego.

No doubt. A kids carnival all game long on the hill (with a

few older folks I saw getting in the action), a competitive game with future stars balling on the field, the best media coverage EVER for a spring game, and a blue sky singing down on all below. It was as close to perfect as the good Lord allows.

I was in the stadium at 12:30. The hill was full at kick off. Since seats were free and kids wanted to slid down the hill, many migrated into the seats for safety. Beetch, beetch beetch

I was there and I was not disappointed. The upper deck on the south side was pretty darn full .
There was as many as I've seen in the past 4 years .
I wouldn't want to deal with any more traffic .

I was actually surprised that the announced attendance was 60k. I thought it was a little more.
I do agree with you on one point though. There could have been more students. Kinda hard to tell just how many were there but imo every single one should have been in attendance.
