Any of those matchups are good. All you can ask for is an opponent where it would be a significant win if you win. ##### vs. Cincinnati, not so much.

Granted, but they claim all secheat successes to be their win, as well. It's just the way they try to include themselves in the elite of that conference.

Rarely do they have a quality opponent. When they do, outside the previous few years (and now that ship has been righted), they have failed epically.

I doubt many will give us credit for beating Missouri in that game, and their good defense and bad offense could make for another boring game.
The Oklahoma matchup in the Russell Bowl sounds a lot more interesting.

Injuries are never an excuse to lose and only losers make excuses.....FSU could have made an excuse prior to the Clemson game because FSU went into that game WITHOUT their best player and Heisman-winning QB Jameis Winston, yet they still won the game rather convincingly.

Russell is now a more highly selected and paying bowl than it has been in the past, and the Citrus Bowl just got a $207 million dollar renovation.
2013 - Louisville v Miami 2012 - FSU v ND
This game is now attracting a much better matchup, and playing Oklahoma or K State would be fun

The writer also thinks Baylor will be in the playoff.
Not unless they absolutely eat Kansas State this weekend and TCU screws up with Iowa State, which probably isn't going to happen.

Tech is not garbage - they nearly beat FSU and only lost 37 - 35 and they played FSU with their best player Jameis Winston. Remember FSU beat Clemson by a TD with their third-string QB(Jameis was suspended for that game ).

When FSU beat Clemson, don't forget FSU was playing with their 3rd string QB Sean McGuirre who is a terrible quarterback, yet they beat Clemson quite convincingly. So u must give GaTech a lot of credit because they nearly won last night against FSU and a 100% healthy Jameis Winston. Remember when Jameis Winston last played against Clemson, the final score was FSU 51 Clemson 7.

Quite convincingly? A TD in OT? We missed 2 FGs, a wide open TD because of Stoudt, fumbled on the 5, etc. what game were u watching? And Winston is playing horrible right now. How many INTs does he have? I wish we had another shot at them.
Yeah we lost. But you got to get out of here with that "we lost quite convincingly crap."

When I said "convincingly" I meant FSU beat Clemson when FSU was playing with their 3rd-string QB Sean McGuirre who is lot more worse than even Cole Stoudt. So if Jameis Winston had played in that game as he did in last year's game, FSU probably would have won by the same score as last year when FSU routed Clemson 51 - 7. Losing by six points in this year's game is a convincing win for FSU due to the fact they were severely short handed with an awful QB like Sean McGuirre.

I'll give Cole the benefit of the doubt in this situation. Giving his shoulder time to heal and wanting to do well enough to be invited to the combine i think Mr. Thanksgiving could be decent enough for us to win a bowl game without needing to play Watson. My belief is that Watson is only there in case he's needed but i don't expect him to play in the bowl game.

Sorry buddy...but stoudt could throw for 500 yards and 5 TDs and he wouldn't even get thought about for the NFL combine. Was that a serious statement? I sure hope not. Cole stoudt would be benched playing qb for Lexington high school. He never deserved to put a Clemson uniform on to begin with. That kid is the worst qb in the entire world. He had to be playing so badly on purpose, cuz if he is really that bad, then be should be a qb coach, and kids should do the exact opposite of him. Thanks to cole stoudt, a great defense was wasted this year, a 9-3 record instead of a chance for an acc championship, cuz he can't complete a 5 yard pass to legget that probably would have won he FSU game. That's how bad this guy is. Its just as much dabos fault for playing this moron. I mean, cole stoudt, really? Great evaluation if talent.
