Mr. Dye,
The Clemson Family is pulling hard for you and all our new Tiger Athletes. We are very excited about seeing you work hard to get on the field. Never accept average. Be a leader and envision the success your God given talents have provided. Go Tigers!

He might not have the speed right now, but it can come with hard work. Look at Hot Rod. There were several times last year the announcers (and me) mistook Hot Rod for Ellington, and you honestly could not tell until the play was over. He was that fast.

He's much quicker than James Davis. Love his catching ability! If he is a good blocker in protection he will get lots of playing time.
I like our depth at RB. If Brooks comes on and Hot Rod improves we will improve our ground game this year.
Don't forget Howard and Gallman too!
Yaba Dabo Do!

I love watching Howard carry the ball... I hope he can stay healthy this year. I thin Hot Rod is faster than Ellington... Not sure if he is as quick on his cuts though.

I love his film think he has everything u want in a back but great speed. Think the lack of great speed is why people compare him to JD. I really think he is more like derrick waston from usc

His speed reminded of Nuk... deceptive... no where in the film did I see anyone catch him from behind..... I like his receiving skills... and his power running.

Speaking on behalf of Clemson faithful....

We're ready to see it!!!
I think we have capable backs in Hot Rod, Brooks, and Howard. But we dont have anybody electric like a CJ or AE. Maybe this guy will be that.

I think Hot Rod is plenty electric!
And he is going to prove it Aug 31st.
As for Dye, he is no CJ but then again no one will ever be. He is more like James Davis, but he will be a stud. He will probably avoid a redshirt because of his talent.
Go Tigers!!

I think Dye is closer to CJ in speed and his quick moves than Davis. JMO, but Dye accelerates from a dead stop as fast as anyone I've seen recently. He changes direction and quickly accelerates so well that I think he gets some PT early in the season. He will just have to block effectively, and the PT will come.

The kid doesn't go down easy, he has speed and a good inside cut. On top of all that he has good hands.
I am thinking a little tuffer and a less dancy Jaime Harper

Got to coach him how to hold the ball

way he swings the football around as he runs is waiting for defender to easily knock it out. Othere than that he looks like an exciting runner. A little power mixed with quick moves
