I hope When Little John is Renovated

They Surround the Floor with Student Seating like Duke and these guys tonight at Pitt.
At every game the students are going crazy behind the post, while the older Iptay donors, like myself I might add, are much more subdued. I can't help but think it would help us win a few more games at home, particularly in game like the FSU game a couple of weeks ago...
Also, it may make the students more likely to show up for games if they know they are getting the prime spot...
Win Win Win for all... Team gets a win, Students have fun, and Alumni are proud because of the teams record...

For FSU I had to wait in line for 45 minutes in the student line and miss the first 15 minutes of the game only to sit in the nosebleeds. I would have yelled the whole game, but it's hard to get into the game when you have to squint to see what's happening

I've never had to wait before, but the FSU game had a 3-student wide line all the way back to the west endzone 30 minutes before tip-off. Ridiculous, don't know what they changed

I was at the Wake game last week and the students were pitiful. No energy for most if the game except the band. I was pretty disappointed

Doesn't seem to be a problem at Allen Fieldhouse, home of Kansas basketball. Students are behind the baskets just like at Littlejohn.

their students aren't all right behind the basket. Their students also extend to the "corners" I guess you could call them.

Yes, but they aren't down the sidelines like Duke or Pittsburgh.

That's the point. The students will come out and be loud when the product on the floor is better. I don't recall any complaining about student seating when we were winning consistently.

There is an opportunity while we are changing things at Little John to put a little more thought into it and and decide what kind of effect our change will make...

I do. I remember complaints from students and non students. Its a problem. The non students who get those seats never show anyways. I am an alum and I want to see the students giving us every advantage as possible. If that means I sit behind them so freaking be it.

Yep, they should put the more louder more active students where us old half dead farts are. They can and will keep the vocals going better than us. Just put and escalator in for us, and give the floor to the now college kids. I'm all in for it.

sections around the court that will be lower than the rest of the arena so the students can stand the whole game without blocking any old fart's view. DRad explains it this way also. I hope they follow through.

Hope our students will take advantage if they do get floor seating. If you watch Georgia Tech, it's embarrasing. There students just stand there and it looks terrible on tv.
