If Miami remains undefeated and we meet them in the ACCCG his odds drastically improve if Cade balls out and has his " Heisman moment "
In the absence of that occurring he's a dark horse candidate at best.

Not going to matter what he does then unfortunately. Probably 70% of the Heisman voters have already voted. They should not allow voting until the completion of the season imo.

For those wondering, +1500 is ~6% chance of winning.
Unfortunately for Cade, not really having an opportunity to have a Heisman moment until the ACCCG stinks as easily 50% of ballots are cast before those games are even played. Maybe if Pitt is undefeated and he lights the Panthers up in a few weeks

I hope Cade continues to have a Heisman-worthy year

… but Spiller, Deshaun, and Trevor didn’t win it, and even if Cade deserved it in the end as the best quarterback, they’ll then give it to the cornerback on the list instead.
Unfortunately, I don’t think I’ll ever see a Clemson player win the Heisman … not because they’re not deserving, but because of the bias.
However, I sure would love to see Cade help us win another Natty!!!
GO TIGERS!!

Agree on all but one thing you said. Because of the early voting, I think the duck qb is a shoein since he took down the big bad tosu.
Only other scenario I see is that backer winning because the voters are tired of QB's winning every year.
Cade should get an invite. Possibly come in 3rd. Still leaves him next year to win it. But I'll definitely rather have the natty and so would Cade.

Hey Tiger Football - How about we don't get distracted by the Heisman Trophy race and just focus on winning the rest of our games. That would be great.

As fans, we can focus on pretty much anything we want to on message boards. Not one ounce of our focus will have any impact on the field. Loosen up and have some fun. Cade for Heisman!

It is a conspiracy to get Cade distracted

The Heisman trophy will never be awarded to a player coached by Dabo Swinney. Sports media have their hate on for Dabo and what he stands for.
They will not validate his insubordinate attitude to accepting their view of life and college football by awarding the Heisman to his quarterback.
I know none of you believe this, and you think the sports media in this country is not like the biased non-sports media. Yet, you see the bias in sports media all around you, and particularly directed at Clemson and CDS.
Today, the Heisman trophy is as political an award as the Speaker of the House of Representatives.
Cade just needs to focus on winning and forget there is an award called the Heisman trophy.

This!!!!
The Heisman is a clown show with the media pushing whoever they love and most of them are voting. Plus, why aren’t other positions even give a tiny chance of winning.
The media was sick of Peyton Manning in 97, so it opened up for a DB so Charles Woodson won it. It’s just not fair to linemen and others that might be the top player. Christian Wilkins and Dexter Lawrence deserved votes. Lawrence was quite possibly the very best true freshmen DT I’ve ever seen and I’m a true college football nerd.
My family thinks I’m autistic because I used to be able to name every Heisman winner since my first year of watching football in 1967 when Gary Beban if UCLA beat out OJ Simpson from USC. What a geek.

If DW and TL didn’t win a Heisman, I just don’t see Klubnik winning one. It’s a silly competition at this point to me. If Christian McCaffrey didn’t win one for that one super incredible season he had in 2015 when he beat Barry Sanders in his incredible 1988 season. I remember after the Rose Bowl and some eastern voter said he’d never seen McCaffrey until that game so he voted for Derrick Henry. Henry had a great season, but McCaffrey had a much better one including receptions and returns. It’s a popularity contest with media darlings like Oklahoma and Alabama and LSU in the front seat. Linemen would be in the running if it was about the best players.
