I could be over dramatizing, but I don't think so. The two

midweek games coming up, first in baseball, then in softball, are the most important midweeks of the year.
Baseball is sky high after sweeping the Wuffies, RPI on the rise, all is sweetness and light. But, lose to Kennesaw State, and all that comes crashing right back down. Momentum in sports is a real thing, and we don't want to lose our baseball momentum in a midweek game loss after such a high this past weekend.
In softball, several key players showed signs of coming out of slumps in the last game, particularly Alia Logoleo, with a homer after a LONG hitting slump. Mac Clark is also heating up again. We have got to have more bats come alive going into post season. As great as she is, Valerie Cagle can't carry us through whole post season series, no one person can. But, back to the present. Just as the baseball team needs to take care of midweek business, the ladies need to shut down the Liberty Flames Wednesday. It would be great to see the bats pick up where they left off in that last Pitt game. We need to keep THAT momentum going as well.

i dont think that is overdramatic at all. Especially with the softball team. That last game against Pitt will hopefully get Clark, Logoleo, and Moore to break out of their slump and start hitting the ball like we know they can. If they can clean up the errors and keep the bats hot I'm hopeful to take the series from VT and make a deep run, hopefully to Oklahoma City!
