A great article and very encouraging, but it has to be seen on the field before it is actually believed by the fan base.

Every year we get “there is something different about this team, this team is hungry, etc etc etc.
But there hasn’t been much difference in these teams from 2021-present.

I believe we’ll get their best effort this year with a great Offensive Line coach, we are so blessed to have him. Dabo is well respected for his culture, Matt was looking for a unique opportunity where he could work and put Jesus and then his family first.
When a great coach is happy and challenged to use his gifting like Dabo & Brent Venables where 🔥 amazing results come.
I believe we’ll go as far as our talent and these kids determination will take us, Dabo has a big chip on his shoulder and has always found a way to fix the issues.
Covid hurt us as the camps were closed and kids not coming to Clemson was hurt our recruiting and he lost his best coaches. The injury bug and turnovers(QB play) where huge in our 4-4 start last season but despite that we have a 5 game win streak.
We still have been pretty good, the coots would think they were National Champions if they had been that good the last 3 years.( not our standard)
Hot seat Dabo is still the best coach in college football, imagine him at Alabama, Ohio State or Georgia with the resources & recruiting advantages.
Love all this material and predictions for our decline, Dabo will use it to motivate this team too. Cade will improve a lot this season he’s still a very very fine youngster as Danny would say.
It would be nice for us to be known for our Offensive line, I’ll never forget that honor they got with the last drive in the last National Championship we won. Our OL was pretty good against great competition considering ETN’s yards per carry.
Let’s go Tigers! Maybe my longest post ever 🤣😂
Let’s go Tigers!

I think you are right on target. Should we surprise the world, some of that will be thanks to Mr. Luke (IMHO)

This almost sounds like the way people described Coach Venables and we all know what he did for the Clemson defense. A little fire and desire can go a long way….

I am convinced this is one of the top 5 hires Dabo has made.

1. Venables 2. Chad 3. Reed (retaining him too) 4. Luke 5. Rumph
Lots of honorable mention obviously.
Reed is 3 because we DEVELOP DB's better than any other position. Lately guys do just as well (or better) as underclassmen as they do later on.

I agree with your list, but Nick Eason has already proven he is top 5. I do believe Luke and Rumph will prove to be so too. Thankfully, it is hard to limit it to a top 5.

I did not know that Matt Luke had coached Laremy "Up in Smoke" Tunsil.

Did they ever figure out who dropped that old video of him in the gas mask doing the evil weed, that just HAPPENED to show up on the eve of the NFL Draft the year he entered the league?

If the ol' memory of the interweb serves correctly, I believe there was some family member/acquaintance that had anticipated representing Laremy but was dumped at the last minute. It's hard to say because back then players were not supposed to even talk to agents. Had Harbaugh been his coach he probably would have been able to explain it as some type of advanced conditioning/training or a mustard gas drill...

I hope Coach Luke can make a turnaround in what we have seen the last 2 seasons. You know what they say “ proof is in the pudding.” We will see when the talking is over and the performance on the field shows it. I hoping for good things for not just the offensive line but the whole offense this year.
