Yep, clearly a story there that is not performance related....obviously it happens and is a confidential personnel decision. I wish us success in hiring a great person to continue the building process of Tiger Gymnastics!

There was a lot of head scratching when she was hired I believe.

Was let go from previous jobs for berating team members and apparently putting an over the top amount of weight pressure on them. Who knows what the story is this time but there’s a history and no love lost with former teams she’s coached.

The tricky part is Neff explicitly said they could find no investigations when she was hired.
I always try to take people at their word, but something still feels off here & the lack of any info while saying it's a top-10 job in the sport feels counter-intuitive for a great hire.
If, for example, she was let go because of her behavior not matching Clemson's values or even being abusive, I'm not sure why we wouldn't say that explicitly as we so often do with nearly every other sport, know what I mean?

Liability and lawsuits. It's a state personnel issue now. All i's and t's must be crossed. I would imagine Amy will sue. Good riddance and thank you Neff for handling this professionally.
Soo soo glad to hear him say this is a top 10 job. Wonder if kindler from Oklahoma would like new scenery and go for a 3peet. One can dream!!!

There is some (perhaps) *minor* nuance to his statement regarding their investigation prior to her hiring.
At Utah State, the school never did an investigation to allegations. So perhaps Neff was referring to that as a peer-to-peer documentation from an athletic program.
Either way, I'm sure we made the correct decision based on the professional handling of the situation.

had nothing to do with this and Neff just fired her because she was too awesome and we needed someone less awesome.

Didn't really say anything except that he won't say anything, though, then said it's a top-10 job nationally?
I'm conflicted just by the lack of info I guess is all; if it was for legitimate reasons that meet Clemson's identity, why not lean into that the way we have for over a decade in nearly every other sport, for example?

Likely following legal advice. Has a duty to his employer not to cause problems by running his mouth (possibly).

It’s astounding that anyone would comment about Kamala after hearing Trump speak/ramble/get off topic 😳.

I mean… if that’s how he wants to identify.
Apparently Clemson will accept that.
I’ve decided my gender is now “Two Spirit” because that actually sounds pretty awesome.

I heard Sally O'Malley is interested. She is 50 but she likes to kick and stretch!

I think the gymnastics portal opens at the end of the month. I hope we don't lose any.
