Did not like what he stood for and anyone who plays for as short as time as he did does not belong on "Mt Rushmore", but I will say he was exciting to watch. The play in the bowl game was amazing. He made some plays that I am not sure anyone else makes the last 2 years but definitely think he is a long shot in NFL.

Beating Bama won't mean squat when everyone forgets the SEC hype.

I don't have a problem with that statement

He used the word memorable. Not great, elite, or anything like that.
Can anyone make the arguement that Manziel was not "memorable" as a player?
I don't like the guy and can't wait til he gets plastered by an nfl safety...

I took it that being on the "Mount Rushmore"

of memorable players implies that he thinks Manziel is one of the 4 most memorable college football players of all-time. There is only room for 4 faces on his fictional "memorable monument" just as there are only 4 on the actual Mount Rushmore.
He's certainly very good, but he's not a top-4 most memorable player ever.

But still don't think it's a huge deal. That talking head can have his little opinion about Manziel, it's not like we really agree with him on anything else he says on here

Even if it were 14 he wouldn't make the cut

It took a shootout and very favorable call for him to beat Duke in the final CFB game of his career. One he said he was more dailed in during than any other game of his career. Yeah he won a Heisman but so did a lot of people. RG3 and JFB meet Troy Smith on the "It was fun while it lasted" memorial.

Probably watched more of his college games than most that are commenting. But this is Finebuam hyperbole at its finest. Seriously you people can't believe he belongs on the Mt. Rushmore of CFB.

Look like a god for beating Bama. But other than that he hasn't accomplished much other than putting up stats (which he did very well). And I don't see Paul trying to put Keenum on the Mt. Rushmore of CFB players.
