Fear of the Coots is driving all this crap on here

since last night. That and Cooters themselves.
Y'all need to think clearly and not question everything that has been put in place here at Clemson the last 3 years.
We have upgraded out talent at every position. Injuries and what not have impacted that but there is NO WAY you can question the recruiting being done here. You can sense that all of our coaches want the Tigers to be at an elite level.
Our coaches also have their own talent to move us toward the top. O'kay Morris made some questionable calls against UGA but do you doubt he is not coveted by tons of great teams who would love to see him at the head of their teams. Morris knows how to win and has contributed to our success and will continue to do so.
And Brent is building a defensive giant here at Clemson. There is no doubt. We have seen how he is the ultimate coach--coaching at all moments and he knows what it is to build a top D. He is intense and you can bet he has a plan for this weekend and beyond.
Yes we lost to UGA in the FIRST FREAKING Game in which we played after losing a whole bunch of studs. Yes we lost on the road in a HOSTILE environment. Yes it was not pretty.
I still believe that Clemson can have a great season. The only piece really missing the last 2 games is blocking. If our blockers on the line and on the outside can hold their blocks just 2 to 3 seconds longer--allowing our backs to hit the crease--then this team will roar.
Many of you are so tied into what the Coots do that it impacts how you view the Tigers. Some of you are fearful and it shows in your posts. Now that is really sad--and not very Old School Clemson. I have no such ties to the Cooters and don't give a #### what they do. The Tigers are who I pull for and so--if the birds win--I don't care and I sure don't see how it impact the wins and loses of my Tigers. Man up boys-be Tigers not ##### cats.
Also, I think we finally have the team to beat them in our home stadium. From 2010-2012 we did not have the talent to compete. Last year we did and things were pretty even going into the 4th quarter until turnovers killed us. This year in our home stadium the birds will go down.
Finally, Dabo has won 52 games since he has been here. He may or may not win this coming weekend but I have no doubt Clemson is still reaching for the top and Clemson can still win all the other games on its schedule including against the Cluckers. Dabo is solid and building an elite, solid program.
Chill and enjoy this week's build up to a great opportunity for the Tigers.
GO TIGERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

+1. I like the way you think, and I do agree with most of it.

Sadly, there are some on here who seem so scared about them that they have become obsessed with beating them. Granted many of them are trolls, but some are just pilgrims who are too young to know the cyclical results of college football. I remember, and it hasn't been all that long ago, when we won 9 out of 10 games in a ten year period. That is a domination. They may win a few more against us, but they never will have what we have at Clemson, and it eats them up inside.

until last year. And of course last year we gave the victory away. We WILL take them down in Death Valley this year.

advantage of some plays on def that could have been made. (dropped int's come to mind, and letting DT run for 20 yds on 3rd and 19)

I like the way you think. They looked pretty good vs ugay, but not so good in the other 2 games. Time will tell what each of us will have prior to year end.

Some on here want almost instant results all over the field. Regardless of all the situations at hand.
I am guilty of being a bit impatient on seeing Chad's smash moth running game to show itself.
I do believe in Coach Caldwell and feel there has been a lot of building issues that is in play with the O-Line.

Funny, but five in a row hasn't been a fantasy. Sure feels like reality to me.

OP Ives in a world of rainbows and butterflies. According to him, There are zero improvements that Clemson could make to better their program. I respect your fan hood but come on dude.
