Cole's entire "being" as a QB concerns me. Not just his shoulder. He just does not have the "it" factor or the football intelligence to make the reads like DW. DW is an "ICE CUBE." Nothing gets to that kid....I followed him in HS, and what you see is what you get. No stage is too big.

Cole's shoulder only hurts when he throws an interception. As long as he doesn't throw a pick, he will remain uninjured.

Yep, he's gonna play. I don't, however, understand the fascination with needing to RUN DW in order for him to make the offense click. That's utter nonsense! The only time he would need to run would be to get away from pressure, then get down quickly....NOT designed runs.

I'd hope in this, they are mainly trying to make sure he could scramble if he needed to (pocket collapse/play extension). Likely with Dye and Gallman getting better, they'll start to take the bulk of the running, and DeShaun will mainly just need to be able to be mobile enough to not keep taking sacks the whole game.

Our offense is still better with DW if he never runs. So for God's sake protect him back there. If DW goes down on designed run against SC like he did against GT that's 100% on Chad.

My exact thoughts. What is the freaking difference? DW is more mobile on one leg. I have to imagine there will be a little gamesmanship this week with the QB situation.

I say ft he can play we hand off to Dye/Gallman about 40 times, set up the play action and hit some deep balls to Scott and Williams. Do some toss sweeps with a lead blocker like Dye. I still say we should play 6 lineman to give extra protection to Watson.

Thinking about printing up some I support Cole shirts for before the South Carolina game. Because he's going to be the starter (I don't think Watson will be ready) so if you can't support him shut up. After you shut-up go back and watch the first three quarters of yesterday's game. The man was almost perfect even the interception could have been caught. If he plays that well against South Carolina we win going away.

So the doctors must have cleared him to play. Green jersey is absolute no contact until Saturday. No running DW. Dye, scott running the ball with DW passing will be combo for a great win. Williams and Peak will have a field day.

Our chances with Cole Stoudt at quarterback is awful. I hate to say it as I will pull for the guy no matter what because he had a tiger paw on his helmet. But we need to see that #4 in the backfield
