Do we really need to spend 60-80 million dollars

On a new basketball arena? The attendance at most games is slight and the product on the court well a uite honestly, is poor at best. Can't we just make Littlejohn suffice? It was re-modeled in the mid 2000's . We can spend that money on something with more of a return on investment. We are suppose to win these out of conference games. My gosh, Gardner Webb is no bigger than Daniel High School...going to be a long, long year!

Just because you've "been around a while" doesn't make you instantly right about everything, nor does it justify your incessant griping.
SHUT UP ALREADY.

Program will get worse if we don't. And it is probably the worst bball facility in the ACC.

are absolutely dreadful. Look at their "weight room" and our sorry excuse for a practice court. Fancy player lounge like we have in DV? Nah. Nice locker rooms? Nah.

size of College of Charleston's arena and make it nice. Don't build a big place that is going to be empty most games. C of C was about $45M and only holds 5,000...probably most of that cost was due to it location in the middle of downtown Charleston and poor soil conditions and being so close to adjacent buildings.

That might not be a bad idea. Cameron Indoor Stadium only holds 9500 and that's Duke....they could fill that up 2x but they keep it quant. We shouldn't put anymore than 6500-7000 capacity. We aren't going to realistically compete year in and year out in the ACC.

Great idea. And while we're at it, lets take one of the upper decks off of Death Valley. Surely they don't need that to be good in football. After all, it was good enough when Charlie Pell was here and we were plenty good then.

Sorry to disagree but I think it's time that basketball does "matter " at Clemson .

We may not be hurting, but we are not spending it on things that actually make our programs dominant.

for football games, did you advocate that we should not spend money on football? My guess is no, and if I am correct, you are a hypocrite.

If I am not Mistaken, in the late 90's Death Valley's capacity more than it is now. We would pack in 86,000 for our biggest games. So, no I didn't advocate expanding Death Valley if that makes me a hypocrite the, I guess I am guilty.
