Dang, Peter Woods must have some Cyborg in him.

319 lbs and can ‘run for days.’ Whew!

I would like to hear the words big, strong, and FAST. You need all 3 to compete at a high level.
Go Tigers!!! The season's getting here FAST!!!

Regarding Wesco's Weight

2

Aug 2, 2024, 8:46 AM

Alabama's "Slim Reaper", Devonta Smith, was a Consensus All-American. Smith won the Biletnikoff Award, the Maxwell Award, SEC Offensive Player of the Year, the Heisman Trophy, and the Walter Camp Player of the Year Award.

He caught 42 passes in 2018, 68 in 2019, and 117 in 2020 with a career total of 46 TD's (23 his sr year) and 17 yards per catch. Smith played at 170 lbs and under (6'1/4") his entire career at Alabama. No DB's could handle his pace as he caught pass after pass after pass on successive plays. Smith was selected 10th overall by the Eagles, and has played well in the NFL.

So regarding Bryant Wesco (6'2"), glad to see him at 182 lbs, but lets not let the young man's weight restrict his ability to help the 2024 Tigers and early. Go Tigers!

If you are 6’2, 182 and run a 4.5 40, you can absolutely truck a DB.

Don't need to truck them

Aug 2, 2024, 9:49 AM

If you can run right by them.

You truck them for fun and just because you can.... :) Makes them less likely to square up the next time you come calling.

I believe he’ll be able to play, and win the competition, very nicely. We find out in about a month. I bet he will be a very pleasant addition to this team. Go Tigers!

Good to hear. I wonder, how deep can this team go? When we were dominant, we

played a lot of guys and spread out the reps. I believe that's what helped us dominate.

Are we "too deep" as the old chant used to go? How much do we fall off after the 1st level guys?
