Spence was never forced to play a QB that didn't fit his system. And while the oline was inconsistent under Spence, it was nowhere near as bad ever since we hired Robbie Caldwell as oline coach.

Rob Spence was TB's Rob Spence. Did you mean could CM be Dabo's Rob Spence?

If so, I don't think so. Morris has had success here. Record offenses. I'm inclined to give him a pass this year given he lost Boyd and Watkins and has had horrible luck with injuries.

He was a bad offensive coordinator. Chad Morris has had a bad season but its because we don't have a reliable back up and we have struggled to find consistency with our RBs plus oline. Chad Morris has been excellent utilizing his weapons his first 3 yrs. He completely changed this offense from the moment he stepped on campus. Spence looked a little better than he actually was because of Spiller and Davis. Morris is one of the best offensive coordinators that's ever been at Clemson, if not the best
