Thankful for the 7 ACC schools who have beaten Scar
Nov 27, 2014, 2:12 PM
|
|
As we get ready to beat the Chickens this Saturday, we are thankful for these 7 ACC schools.
Duke is 24-17-3 against South Carolina
North Carolina is 34-18-4 against South Carolina
FSU is 16-3-0 against South Carolina
GT is 12-9-0 against South Carolina
PITTSBURGH... PITTSBURGH!!!! Is 3-1 against South Carolina... PITTSBURGH
Miami is 8-5 against South Carolina (Miami is on a 6 game win streak)
Clemson is 65-42-4 against South Carolina.
In total Scar has a losing record to 7/11 vs ACC schools. There are a total of 14 schools but Scar hasn't played Cuse, UL, or BC. So as we go through the rest of the day, be thankful for those 7 schools. Next time they say "Y'all suck because you play in the ACC." Feel free to bring up the FACTS to counter their opinionated arguments of coot logic.
See you guys in the Valley on Saturday as we take down the chickens.

Outside of North Carolina, who the Gamecocks beat last year and 3 years ago, I don't think they have played any of these schools in the past 25 years. That makes this totally irrelevant. I dont think any SC fan believes for a second that the school history is anything to brag about.
I also think Clemson has a losing record against every SEC team outside of USC. Yep Clemson has losing records against Vandy (1-3) and Kentucky (5-8). Overall Clemson has not even won a 1/3 of the games against the SEC. 44 wins and 96 losses.
Outside SC, the record is 30 wins and 86 losses.

So you can't count those because they were 25 years ago but you throw games we lost over 25 years as your argument

Nope just showing the hypocrisy and how it plays both ways.
BTW SC has a winning record against ACC teams 120-111.

Do your homework. Clemson was a tiny school compared to UGA, BAMA etc at time. GT was in SEC and we played in Atlanta every year, Athens every year, etc. IT was like Wofford coming to Clemson , we went to those schools for a payday. Coots had home and away with acc schools and still stunk. And oh yeah we played in columbia every year for first 60 years of rivalry. Think how bad series record could have been for coots. Now I back to Wofford board.

Just curious does this make you feel better about the last 5 years? So last year when you beat Georgia tech did you hear Georgia tech fans go well we still own the all time series record so who cares about this loss? No you didn't you know why because it's a stupid argument and you would look like a moron saying it.

Typical tnet thread. OP tried to flame, there is a counter argument because the OP was doing nothing but trolling....then the thread goes downhill bc no one is capable of a real discussion. The word coot gets overused and then three pages later, the argument had nothing to do with the original post.
If the mods rolled all threads that were identical together, there would be what? 10 threads total?
1. Coots suck 2. Dabo has to go 3. Dabo is better than Danny ford 4. Jameis is a thug 5. Swofford should be fired. 6. There is something bout them hills 7. SOS has moobs 8. Clemson will win the national championship next year. 9. Our recruiting class is sick 10. ESPN bias

The OP tried to flame? Flame who? He is a Tiger on a Tiger board. That isn't flaming.
Flaming is a fan of a different school posting on a Clemson site.

17-24 head to head they are versus Duke University. In football. Inconceivable. That would be like getting beaten by unranked teams 3 times in the same season after leading by 14 in the 4th quarter ....nobody could suck that bad , right ?

But to say those turnovers didn't affect the game is asinine. Nobody can't take the win away from you...but we can find reasons why we lost. What's so hard to grasp about that?
Also, your program doesn't hold a candle to FSU. FSU would take that ### to the woodshed this year and last year...

the nostalgic ramblings of us scarred up, veteran Tiger fans (or, more affectionately, "old farts"); but had you sat next to us at the Pitt/Clemson Gator Bowl in 1977 (Clemson's first bowl game in what seemed decades) and watched Pitt--who was practically missing only Tony Dorsett from the prior year's Nat Championship--decimate the Tigers, you'd have had plenty of time to read up on Pitt's football history in the program
