There is an idea that many, many people subscribe to the notion that you only fail if you quit. Being a part of failures does not mean you’ve failed. Overall. I’d bet if you go back to his news conferences he’d said 20 times “I failed to get them ready”. Or, “that’s on me. It ends w me”. Doesn’t mean you’re a failure.
I’ve been vocal and critical of the man. I’ve called him arrogant. Stubborn. So I’m no pumper.
But backing away, this team is trending up. Sure, there have been some setbacks. He may have made some terrible hires. But here he is, climbing his way out of it.
The only thing I hate right now is him leading the charge down the hill 40 yards ahead of the team. But hey, to be in that position you have to be headstrong and probably a bit arrogant.
Tbh, you are arrogant. As am I. Most of us are if we really dig deep.

Doubling down, I see. You’re only strengthening my assertion. I had no idea he had said he had been a part of failure many times. That goes to what I said. I imagine you read it as “I’ve been a part but it wasn’t my fault”. I read it totally differently. I read it as ownership, dusting himself off and turning it around.
That’s your prerogative. Have at it. But it doesn’t carry over to your other coach. I’ve heard him say several times it’s players’ fault. And how about the allegations from the scout team player? I’m guessing to you it’s just sour grapes.
It could be. But you sure do bend over backwards for him and reach REALLY deep to burn Dabo. Just be consistent

The thing that I have found interesting is that nobody mentions that Tyler was probably right, and it has been Dabo to prove it. Tyler may have carried the comments a little too far, but Dabo has since fired his 2 inside hire coordinators and made outside hires. We have 3 transfers already this offseason with the potential for more depending on the decision for scholarship numbers.

I was certainly questioning that while he dug his heels in and refusing to use the portal and NIL to the fullest, all while hiring a string of unqualified coaches, but thankfully he has humbled himself and seems to be doing much better.

It's really hard to believe that Greg McElroy had anything that good to say about our Tigers after all the crap he's talked about Clemson the past few years. My opinion of him just changed bc maybe he just calls like it HE sees it. I would have never thought it possible for anything good about Clemson to come from his mouth and here he is proving me wrong!!!

Hey dude, I think that I explained myself and my feelings of McElroy's past comments towards Clemson. I don't care who they are when talking about Clemson and everything that comes from their mouth is totally negative, it will without any doubt put a sour taste in my mouth for them. But if you read what I said, I said it bc of his positive outlook toward our FB team and that I see that he is able to give our team credit when he believes the credit was due and that maybe he really isn't all that one way about our team, and I was giving him credit bc I was seeing that it wasn't impossible for him to actually say something good about Clemson from his usual talking down about Clemson.
IMO this was the first time that I've heard anything positive about Clemson, and I was glad to see that there was another side of the guy and maybe now I won't get so ill with him the next time he's talking down towards Clemson bc he will give credit when he sees that credit is due!!!

We may or may not be the number 1 ranked team to start the season. But it makes no difference.
The hits just keep on coming and that's a positive development compared to recent years.
It seems there is a consensus growing that Clemson is " back ".
Why it matters. We've all sat and watched while the talking heads stuff the top 10-15 with as many SEC and B1G teams as possible so as the season progresses those conference losses aren't as costly and they remain highly ranked.
Just beat LSU out the gate and we should be off and running. I know , easier said than done. We absolutely can't lose 3 openers in a row and be considered a consistent national championship contender. Just win
We match up well. Clemson is stacked. Once again everybody sees it.
I wouldn't worry too much about the running game. EZ. And Davidson will both shine in the Spring. Write that down. Klubnik will run more than usual if need be or Luke will pull our lineman out on the perimeter for our playmakers in open space. Remember he recruits guys that move well and are flexible for that reason rather than road graders.
If we get by LSU we are off and running and any later loss would be an upset.
We have slowly been getting our " MOJO " back that previous championship teams possessed. They're good and they know they're good and that makes a huge difference.
I doubt this team gets upset. Go Tigers
