Clemson jerseys

Does anyone know where you can purchase an authentic game jersey with stiched on lettering? The only ones I saw on clemsontigers.com was for #11 which is nobody and boyds. I would really like to get a sammy Watkins jersey if possible. Thanks

I've never seen Clemson jerseys with sewn on letters. I looked everywhere for a Watkins jersey too. No luck.

I have one with sewn on letters and numbers that's a number 6 but its not the new style jersey. My sister actually got it for me for xmas about 5 years ago.

They only put out one twill (numbers sewn on) jersey each year. From what I've seen, only Boyd's is available, and it hasn't been out very long. If you want a Sammy Watkins jersey, you may have to wait till next year or even the next. Maybe you could contact Nike and have one made. Who knows?

And I don't think #2 jerseys are available yet. The NCAA will not allow the sale of a jersey with a player's name on the back because they would then have to pay that player some type of royalty. So instead, shops can sell #10 jerseys all day long, with everyone knowing that's Boyd's number (there's a reason you don't see the number of the backup place kicker) and not owe anyone a dime. But I digress......

I did check into the customized jerseys. The website would not allow you to put a current Clemson player's name on a jersey. Not sure if that applies everywhere though.

You can find game worn jerseys on a few websites every so often... www.collegejersey.com has them every so often. Usually a few years old.

But if you want one made, your best bet is to buy an authentic blank and take it to a place in your town that does jerseys and ask them politely to put on what you want. It is probably not outright copyright infringement (like putting a baseball player's name on a jersey or shirt), but it is most likely frowned upon.
