Brent Venables Life Story

Every self-respecting Tiger football fan should read this 4-part bio on Tiger Illiustrated, written in Brent's own words. I just finished Part 4, and as a result of what he said in the last few paragraphs, I would really hope that I NEVER AGAIN have to read another post on this board stressing out over some rumor that Brent is being courted for a head coaching job elsewhere, and that he is considering taking it. It is clear to me that he and his family, just like Dabo and his family, ARE NOT GOING ANYWHERE ... AND ARE IN CLEMSON TO STAY.
GO TIGERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You can join right now for $5.00/month (half price), and TI has much better coverage of recruiting than TNet. That BV bio is not to be missed reading.

I do not like pay sites. But......
Spend $5 or $60 or $100 and read the four part CBV story, in his own words. If you want to know Coach Venables, you gotta read his story, in his own words. It's barely about football. It does give one a fuller perspective about that crazy intense genius, loving life and what he does on the sideline at Death Valley. Until you read his story, you will not know the whole story. When you read it, you will think a lot more of Coach V and the path that brought him to us.

You remind me of Paul Harvey

"And now page 2." "And now you know the rest of the story." Showing my age, but I loved listening to that guy. He could talk about somebody mowing their lawn and make it sound interesting. And the commercials sounded like part of the story, same tone, same intensity.
But seriously, nowI want to check out the BV story on TI. $5/month you say? Sometimes I feel like i'm getting nickel and dimed to death with all the apps and service charges and taxes and fees on stuff.

Ha! I actually picked up his book at a thrift shop, has about 100 of those pithy, happy feeling stories in it. I certainly remember him... but then I'm an oldie!

My son is a TI subscriber. He told me the story is worth the price of subscription. I got the full year for $50 and a free Clemson t-shirt. Definitely worth it to me. Fantastic insight and I agree that he is going nowhere. It seems to me that security and stability are extremely important to BV.

In my personal opinion, TI has the best recruiting info period. Heck, D Hood reads it per a Hood post.
Loved the mini series on Dabo and this one on Brent is also a must read.
And I concur, neither one is leaving. Their upbringing is very similar.
