"to the needs of women and children of color."
What if TL did something just for white people? That would be celebrated, too, right?

That's about the only sensible thing I've read coming from you in a while. And it's a fact that if TL16 was to do something that was directed only for white culture, he would be privately and publicly called a racist. As been said right here on T-Net before when the subject of racism has been brought up, it seems that the society that we live in today that only the white race can be deemed as racist. IMO it's wrong, but it's not only wrong it's also not true bc any race can be racist of another race if that's what they choose to be.
There isn't any doubt that in America white people are broadly thought of as being racist mainly bc of how open slavery was in this country. But the most important part about slavery that nobody ever brings to the attention of all the people in America, or any country that slavery was as open as it was in America. The truth is that mostly the Rich in America actually owned slaves, and back when slavery was legal in in America, But in the entire United States of America on the eve of the Civil war the population in America was 31,183,582, and the number slave owners were 393,975 in the USA. The 30,789,606 didn't have slaves, and most of that 30 mil actually look down on slavery, but in today's America most whites are thought to racist and that is simply not the truth.
In today's America I personally believe there are as many black racist as there are white racist, and statements like these (On November 14, volunteers assembled 200 gift bags filled with essential hair and personal care items from Black-owned brands, all tailored to the needs of women and children of color.) White people aren't supposed to see any part of the statement to be deemed as racism, but how can it not be racism with all these gift bags being for people of color. Black and white people use those shelters, and white people have never been described or considered to be people of color. They said it, and I didn't make it up bc it's right there for anyone to read,
