I’ll start with DW’s in late in Pitt game with an 8 pt lead and in gimme fg range to make it 11. ( game over). On the positive side, that may have sparked us for the final run in 2016!

Not sure if it qualifies as "bonehead", but I would be remiss if I left out the "puntrooski" where +80,000 people thought we had stopped FSU on 4th down. Gutsy call, but made our defense and coaching staff look like complete boneheads.

Funny thing about that call... Brad Scott was the O line coach for FSU that game. One time he told me the story of how that went down on the sidelines during the game between the coaches.

I second that play. They couldn't stop us on anything and he decided to get cute and call that trick play which we never recovered the momentum after that.

Spurrier even told Dabo he didn’t know how they won that game. We were by far the better team. Allowed them to get the 5 peat and allowed them to be one of the worst teams I’ve ever seen finish with a top 5 ranking. I will never get over that completely unnecessary loss.

Coaches screwed up - never prepared for that possibility. Cost us a Natty most likely.
The team that had the ball last in that game was going to win it!!!! Bama retained posession of the ball and won.

The one that sticks out to me because I was in person was 2002 UGA game in Athens. Aaron Hunt had a chance to tie the game with less than 2 minutes left, but his kick was just short. That miss was only a 46 yarder and he missed a 37 yarder earlier in the game.
