Baseball recruiting

I just looked at our roster and we have 24 baseball players from SC and players from 11 different states. Notre Dame has players from 17 different states and are in a Super Regional. Just as Dabo now has a national recruiting footprint, our new coach has to find players from places other than SC or we will continue to struggle to make the tournament.

It’s interesting as Jack Legg was bashed to death for only recruiting nationally while overlooking the in state players. Perhaps it does not matter where the player grew up as long as they are good at baseball?

lending his recruiting excellence to Monty. Instead he loved himself more than Clemson. Had he done that both would have probably still be there

Based on our results and the chick's results, I doubt much of the South Carolina talent is major college good. The reason there is more baseball talent than basketball or football is there are way more kids that play baseball than the other two sports.
