An advantage, perhaps?

Jan 7, 2019, 3:33 PM

I tend to think that the never-ending carousel of Alabama coordinators has finally ended up with two over whom I think we have a significant advantage. I think they both have been slow to make adjustments, if at all, and rely on talent to a significant extent. While you could argue that Elliott does the same thing, he does seem to bring an A game in big games, last year's semi-final excluded. We need to exploit and/or create matchups that give us an advantage on offense. I have no doubt that Venables will have us ready on defense. If they beat us, I think it'll have to be physically. Not much more you can ask.

BLUF: If we can survive the initial onslaught, ie. the first quarter, I think our coaching/adjustments could well be the difference in this one.

Bama NOT making coaching adjustments? You must have forgotten Tua replacing Hurts.

that was Saban, not Locksley. It will be interesting to see if they adjust if we're able to push Tua
