Why is the Paw tilted?

I always heard it was because of the Big Thursday Kick off time.
But then I saw this on a google search.
A print was made of the object, and while local legend holds that the tilt of the Paw is because of the 1 p.m. kickoff during that time, apparently the print came that way from the museum, simply because the angle is the natural turnout of a tiger.
I am still going with the Big Thursday explanation.... more traditional...
Any other insight?

is the paw used to take the cast/mold for the design from a real Tiger, The squiggly mark at the bottom which gives our paw its trademark is a scar that was on the real Tigers foot.

I remember reading in an article that the man that designed the paw put the squiggly at the bottom of the Paw in order for it to be trademarked.

That's how I have it on all my vehicles. I'm not sure why so many tilt it like they do, but it needs to stop.

I have never personally attended a meat and greet, unless you count Bob Evans country restaurants.
