2023 Stadium Seat Equity

You're worried about parking permits, check out next year's seat equity map. Our poor season tickets which we've had for 43 years will now cost us double what we've paid in the past. Guess what? We won't be going to football game in the future.

Compared with other big schools, our seats have always been cheap. I wish CLEMSON would give the empty seats in the stadium to students on the day of the game. There are just about always upper deck seats empty. We have twice the number of students and it doesn't seem like we have as many students in the games? Back when I was in school, they would issue 'Hill Seats' to any student that did not have a seat.
Comparable seats at Texas A&M are more than twice the Clemson price. Way more expensive. They even tell let you buy the seats, and pay the annual premium at the same time online. Their stadium holds more than 100,000 people too. Same situation at University of Texas.
On the other hand, teams like University of Houston or SMU have ticket prices more like Clemson. Our athletic budget is Half of the big schools, and less than the coots! We will even be paying more in the future in the ACC or in the SEC..... Enjoy every game you go to!

Well...there are many people sitting in lower level seating that pay the minimum Iptay dues and that is not right. I had to raise my donation to keep my parking, but a person donating 1/10th of me is sitting in better seats because they have had them since they got out of school is wrong. They are finally doing what is right and making those people pay. Just my $.02 and I am sure many people on here will disagree.

Seating, like parking should be by level of donation, not how many years you have had the seats.

Since charitable deductions pretty much went down the toilet years ago, IPTAY donations have been about 1 thing and 1 thing only, football tickets and parking. What I hope is that people that donate to IPTAY actually care about Clemson and go to games. If a person gives to IPTAY and buys tickets just to make money, they deserve to lose per game. If seat equity goes up and a true per game cost of tickets goes up that is just part of life in today’s world. If you love Clemson and support our Tigers win, lose or draw you will continue to go to games if you can afford it. The short sighted person that suggests people make more money lives in a fantasy world and fails to understand the fact that there are thousands of IPTAY donors that are past their earning age but probably donate more than he does.

IPTAY is about much more than season tickets and parking.
