And ahead of us. Also, Michigan ahead of us.

Trash rankings, though it really doesn’t matter

Clemson loses to the #1 team in the country and drops 13 spots. ND loses to an unranked team at home and drops 13 spots. Where is the logic?

I can honestly say, based on some of the talent and how we are playing upfront, that we are probably better than at least 15 of the teams ranked ahead of us.

All we have to do is keep winning. If we win the rankings will take care of themselves.

Go Tigers

11 of top 12 are SEC/B1G

Miami is the only exception at #10.

2nd highest ranked Big 12 team is 14.
2nd highest ranked ACC team is 19.

Anybody think big 12 or ACC is gonna get two teams in the playoffs?

I think the ACC might. Clemson, Miami, and Louisville all have a decent shot. Those SEC teams have to play each other eventually. If Clemson wins the ACC, and Miami or Louisville only has 1 or 2 losses at the end of the regular season, they probably get in.

Maybe the ACC if Miami and Clemson go on long runs. A very big MAYBE.

Based off of how they are trying to rank them, no. But I do think both conferences have 2 or more playoff worthy teams. I don't buy the SEC, like every year they rank em all up at the top but half of them aren't worthy of their rank. But we are used to it. If Big10 or SEC lose they barely drop, but if ACC or Big10 lose they plummet. Sane with wins. SEC can barely squeeze out a win against a bad program and they catapult up the rankings, but when Big12 or ACC blow out teams they barely move up. With Clemson, 4 teams ahead of them lose and they only go up 3 slots because they "have to", bit reality is they should have gone up 6 or 7 slots.
