Poll: For the 1st time ever, what is most likely to occur?

Oct 21, 2018, 9:44 PM

...in the College Football Playoff?

-5 Undefeated teams remain (Alabama, Clemson, Notre Dame, UCF, and USF)
-Bama plays LSU next week, with a BYE week this Saturday (remaining - @LSU, Miss St, Citadel, Auburn)
-UCF's only ranked opponent looks to be USF after a loss by Cincy to Temple in OT (remaining - Temple, Navy, Cincy, @USF)
-Notre Dame has an easy schedule remaining, but there might be a scare lurking (remaining - Navy, @Northwestern, FSU, Syracuse, @USC)

1 Loss Teams that are still in the mix:
BIG 10-
-Michigan
-Ohio State
-Iowa

BIG 12-
-Texas
-Oklahoma
-WVU

SEC-
-LSU
-UGA
-Kentucky (lol)
-Florida (UGA/Florida game this weekend)

PAC 12-
-WSU

For the first time ever, which is most likely to happen in this year's CFB Playoff?    [Results]

The first two-loss team will get into the playoff.
Alabama will be left out.
The Big12 will finally win a playoff game.
A non-p5 team will finally make it in.
More than one undefeated team will get into the playoff.
An undefeated playoff team will finally win it all.
The #1 seed will finally win it all.

I'm just glad we didn't have to work out which train gets to the station first.

its either gonna be us or bama who wins undefeated. imo Michigan is a scary team to play also considering their lock down d and mobile qb

Meeshigan lost to Notre Dame when the Irish were playing tthe QB they benched in favor of Ian Book .
I am not sold on Michigan and I think it is likely they lose to Ohio State at the end ... as per usual .

It will be interesting to see how the CFB committee picks #1 in the final poll with two undefeateds.

See third bullet

I guess Iowa is technically still alive

Oct 21, 2018, 10:24 PM

but they don't control their own destiny. They could win out and still not make the Bog Ten championship if Wisconsin wins out, since Wisky would have the tiebreaker.

Wisconsin has lost 2 now. Iowa back in front.

The polls are trying their best to keep 2 SEC teams...

in the top 4

Or at least close enough where they can influence the committee they deserve a spot by passing the "eye test"
