Probably a significant NIL deal but I hope DJ realizes FSU is losing all their top deep threats. DJ will crumble in every big game or game needing a comeback. He just doesn't have the football IQ to match the athleticism.

Something tells me that the defense will have enough knowledge on how to make him throw dirt balls and sack him. We can’t stop him from handing off the ball.

I predict 10 sacks and 25 QB Hurries. Competition percentage of 30% tops. Transferring to Oregon was one thing. Transferring to FSU is a totally different thing and will make this personal for the defense. Knocked out of the game by the 4th quarter.

Personally, I don't think that FSU was his best choice, but I have been wrong about my own choices during my lifetime, but FSU was a choice that really didn't make a lot of sense to me. Plus, just about every ACC DC knew how to defend DJ....

He lead the team with class and graduated from Clemson and gave us his all for 3 years.
I think we would have seen a better version of him if we had much better O Line and WR's in his 2 years.

Agree that he did a good job when he took over when TL16 was out with covid, and we did have a couple of pretty good WRs during that time. But I think that all will agree that when DJ had to think really fast, he usually made the wrong decision. Having to think fast was his Achilles of the Brain

1. Am I going to pull for him? No
2. Did he leave to open the door for potentially a better (arguable) option? Yes...felt like he was invited to leave
3. Did he graduate? Did he leave on good terms and did he honor the university while he was here? Yes...then IMO he's a tiger and I will be happy for him starting in 2025.
4. If I was okay with the other QBs leaving...im okay with him he's just on another team this year.
