Kudos to Nico to. "Nothing is ever worthless if it can be used as a bad example". WHat he did is a glaring example of what needs to be addressed like some basic rules on how this system w NIL is going to operate.

Limited. Tennessee started this whole trend when they gave Nico $8 million coming out of high school in a deal that was unprecedented at the time. Tennessee then sued the ncaa over its NIL recruiting ban amidst allegations pertaining largely to that deal. They’re playing the game they started.

The power holder adults in the room for the last decade let this mess happen when the writing was explicitly on the wall - school presidents, conference commissioners, NCAA, etc. They are just reaping what they have sown with their nonfeasance.

when we say its not their fault then we are saying they don't have a responsibility to be good teammates/citizens which will carry over into their adulthood. We have had alot of this "its not your fault" or "i gots to gets mines" attitude in society these days and this type of thing is what that translates into.

Funny, he and Beamer both actually made me happy this year when Frank's Boy told that LB who wanted to sit out the rest of the season to kick rocks and get to stepping.
