Last years form. Control is proving problematic in both outings so far. Obviously it’s super early … just need him to lock that ace spot down much better than so far

I believe he will. His stuff looks great when it’s in the zone. Let him shake off the rust. Sometimes it’s hard to follow up on a fantastic freshman year when you are 19 years old.

He’s not quite his usual self. He’s yanking that fastball a bit I think and it’s putting him behind in some spots. Luckily that changeup is still a fantastic and very consistent pitch for him so he can always lean on that.

It’s early. Looked like he was getting warmed up when he was pulled. Don’t want to blow arms out in this cold weather.

Good lord, it’s still February. I’d rather my pitchers be sharp and feeling good in April,May & June.

Still warming up right now. He’s elite and will be fine.
