Think it’s solid. Sure many mainstream folks will plaster him as foolish and not adapting… maybe we’ll get a new graphic during games so we can stop seeing the same portal graphic each week.

Lincoln Riley made the exact same suggestion about a month ago.

Comments. Maybe Nick and some others will come out in support of these comments.

Has no one told him about Bluffton? He would be more than happy to share his thoughts on how Dabo should be adapting to the current college football landscape.

BMeist anyway you could get Dabo in touch with Bluffton? I believe this program could really take that next step after such a meet.

years allow late bloomers to blossom into good football players and NFL players, especially at QB, the hardest sports job on the planet. Just look at Bo Nix who looked like crap in year 3 under Mike Bobo, transfers to Oregon, lights the world on fire and is now the starting QB for the Broncos in his rookie year.

The extra year would be good for college football and the NFL.

decades - it’s not a new idea from Dabo, Lincoln or any current coach. Hopefully though with some of the changes, it will finally force it into action.

Then you wouldn't have the QB at Louisville that started college football when Klubnik was 14 years old. Seriously, I agree 5 years and done.

Fortunately, any one that has already decided they’re going to quit on their team and “opt out “are not gonna bother to play any more games regardless

I like the idea. But I also think it will be a moot point in the near future. If the players do become employees, then how can the institutions put a restriction on how many years they can play?

I have a feeling major college football will become NFL light, with players who basically can't cut it in the NFL coming back to the college ranks if they can find a team willing to sign them to a contract to get a share of the revenue and NIL.
