So it was a swing and a miss because he got injured? The browns are in the fix their in because this co-owner is an idiot. Deshaun can be a great player once injuries are healed and if he can get with a good team The texans and browns are just toxic.

the guy has a nice 20 plus year old stadium. He is now trying to hold the area hostage and saying he needs a domed stadium. He is a multi billionaire and can afford to build his own stadium. He could even fund a pro team for it instead of this disaster of a team (not all Deshauns fault)

He would slide into legitimate massage therapist DM's and schedule appointments then pressure them into performing sexual acts they did not wanna perform. It is a swing in a miss. They took a chance on someone with questionable character… And then someone who couldn’t stay healthy enough to be on the field. That’s a very definition of a swing in the mess, especially for the stupid contract they made.
Clemson fans will defend Watson to the end… And yes, he did amazing things for Clemson football… But after he left, his career has been nothing short of disappointing And his decision-making is questionable in the best of light… And downright stupid and potentially criminal in the worst.

The injury issues and the off-field concerns (regardless of what you think) were very apparent well before they chose to sign him to the biggest contract in league history. Not all decisions work out, and even the best GM's will have some regrets. You can't predict everything. But the warning flags should've been obvious with this one, especially for the level of investment. I liked Deshaun, but due to a multitude of factors (some outside of his control and some inside it), he's a sad shell of what he used to be. It's tough to say, but it's just the truth at this point.

Not hating on Deshaun, but not a person other than his agent can say with a straight face this trade wasn’t a disaster. His agent only b/c he is paid to do so. Everyone knows this has been an unmitigated disaster in Cleveland.
