Heck yes, remember how far we fell when we lost to what was then the #1 team in the country, and back when we played that game, every talking media head in the world really believed that UGA was in fact the true #1 team in the country, AND nobody actually saw a team at that time that they believed would beat Georgia, and Georgia would end their regular season as an undefeated team, and after they beat us, we went from #14 to almost dropping out of the ranking at #24. Anybody that doesn't believe that college FB is SEC driven, just check the top ranking from week one to week 5.
Georgia almost lost to Kentucky, and they won by just 1 point with the final score being 13-12 UGA. They then had 2 weeks to prepare for Bama and Bama beat them worse than the final score indicated, finale score 41-34 Bama.
The new poles come out and GEORGIA is ranked #5 after actually being embarrassed by an unranked Kentucky but win by a single point 2 weeks ago. UGA again actually gets embarrassed by Bama for 3 quarters and lose by the score of 41-34 and they make it past the ranking at #5, but if they win their next games they will probably be right behind Bama at #2. Now lets talk about Clemson.
We get embarrassed by UGA the 1st game of the season after coming out of last season as our worst season since 2010, and UGA beats us badly, but in our game with UGA the game wasn't as bad as the score indicated bc we were still in that game until the 3d quarter was about to end but that's about when we lost sight of that game but we almost fall completely out of the rankings and it has taken us 3 blowout game games just to get back to where we were in the rankings at the start of the season. In two of the blowout games our starters were on the bench right after starting the 3d quarter.
We are just getting back to where we were ranked at the start of our season after losing 11 spots. UGA on the other hand come as close to losing to an unranked team as they could get to losing but lucked up by winning by 1 point. They get soundly beat by Bama two weeks after almost losing a game to an unranked Kentucky, and they only lose 4 spots in the rankings.
If that doesn't prove that college FB is driven by the SEC, then somebody please tell me by using simple Maff how did our rankings get so screwed up bc the team that beat us was the #1 ranked team at that time. That same team since barely got by playing against an unranked team they beat by a single point, and two weeks later they get embarrassed by Bama, and they only lose 4 spots in the rankings... It makes no sense at all as to why after all our FB program has done over the past 15 years, and we still don't get the same respect that the SEC teams get, and like them we have earned that same respect bc we have been in and won the same big time national championship game as the SEC has won, and we won two NCG before UGA got there, and we won both of our NCG from the team that just embarrassed them, yet one loss against the #1 team and we lose 11 spots in the ranking with the quickness. Oh well, every good team isn't in the SEC and it isn't our problem with how bias the SEC folks are...

It goes deeper than just UGA and Bama. UGA should be ranked behind all undefeated power 5 teams - Oregon, Penn State, Miami... maybe even Mizzou... Ole Miss should be behind us. They lost to unranked. Mizzou almost lost to Vandy in double overtime and they are still given the benefit of a doubt to be in the top 10? If Michigan is 10, we should be 11 right there with them. The loss was similar, and to a similar opponent, except they lost at home and haven't had a dominant win over anyone good since. Part of Tennessee's biggest SoS is beating NC State, and they count that quality for them but not for us. You look back further and you see Oklahoma still hanging around after struggling to Auburn, yet Pitt and Duke have been playing unbelievable ball and they aren't even ranked.
They for real have set this season up to fill any and every at large bid with SEC and Big10 schools, and it's all driven by money and outside influence.
This isn't college football any more. If they continue to ruin this sport I'm going to stop watching.
