I want to be proven wrong, but let’s be clear. Backing your way into the ACCCG doesn’t instill enough faith in me.
Love the portal moves. Love the new DC. I’m not convinced it’s making the difference.
I don’t have confident in the offense to win down after down. We’re expecting some growth then.

with the changes and with our returning fellows.
I think we'll begin to have a sense of our abilities with our game against LSU; however, I'll approach the season, as I have the past 60 years: with great hope, belief, excitement and trust in our staff and team...game by game. And I won't lay awake at night nor clutter my mind at work, fretting over what if's, which I can assure are usually of no avail.

please explain how we "backed our way into the ACCCG"....since everyone played 8 conference games and the 2 teams with the best records were awarded the 2 open slots, I'd like for you to explain. I will hang up and listen.

Backed into is a false narrative. We played the same amount of games against the schedule we were given..we had 1 of tbe top 2 records at the end. That equals a birth in ACCCG. That comment makes you sound "not smart" or "Ganecock like". If Miami would have finished the season before we did then what? Now the other part of your comments, yes I'm not sure all is a great as we read, but at least Dabo made changes. So enjoy the journey and stop guessing the final destination!!

The Tigers didn’t back their way into the ACCCG. Miami backed their way out, leaving the front door open for the Tigers to walk through at 7-1. It would have been great to beat UofL to leave no doubt but the Tigers beat the seven other teams the schedule provided.

i agree about the offense
but i have zero reason to all of a sudden be optimistic on a defense whose starting line up is pretty much the same
i only respect TJ Parker's and Sammy Brown's football

Well we did not back in to the game. We won are way in at 7-1 and won the game. If all three of us were undefeated, it was going to be a mess. We would be out based on criteria and all #### would be unleashed. It’s why you play the games, including Miami.
Yes we have some gaps next year but less concern on O than D. Hike the ball and let’s play the game.

Well some are not cool with messing up Dabo's "culture" with the portal. I guess they are OK with 8 losses the past two seasons-light years with where this program used to be. I'm excited we are finally using it like every other Power program in the country. See if we can improve on averaging 4 losses per season recently.

Having been around for a while, I am nothing but proud and grateful for where our football team has progressed. When I was at Clemson, Red Parker led us to a 7-4 record and our undefeated home season was commemorated with a Pepsi bottle. Now if we only make the playoff, some of you guys are in shock. When I met my wife-to-be, I told her I went to Clemson and she asked what that was. I told her, "its the center of the universe." Dabo and his support from the Trustees has created a football team, that is second to none and which I believe compliments our great university. Just a thought. Oh, and by the way, the wife of 46 years, has come to realize that I was right!
