Only two offensive players with the ability to do anything(Reid and their tight end.)Why would you not have someone holding their hand on every play. For the life of me we allow Reid out of the backfield uncovered that got them down there and then having third team Clayton LB covering their tight end for the TD pass. I’m not impressed with Wes and Mike Reid’s defensive backs seem to be out of position so many times. Would we not be better to play man to man and at least know who
we are to cover. We had to have a miracle to beat a much less talented team.

If not for these two blocks Club would have not been able to run the 50 yarder for a victory for our tigers. Mafah and Moore spring Cade.

We have lack of DE talent after Parker. That is followed by lack of depth and talent at LB, both of which puts more pressure on the DBs. A grear DL can cover for lack of LB and vs. but constant breakdowns at those levels leave the DBs on islands longer than they should or long enough to clear wnd level to make RBs and TEs very dangerous. Our defense is barely above average and drops quickly on 2nd string. Our LB crew is not a strength and have a true fresh making plays as 2nd string. This is coaching and recruiting, Wes is the LB coach which that position has fallen.

Coaches work with who is on the field. We lost our two best LBs soon after the game began. I thought the backups LBs did a commendable job considering the Offense did nothing for 2 Qtrs. Defense was on the field for most of the 2nd half or so it seemed. Somebody on here said Carter played 93 snaps. Dang. That a lot of plays.
