They doomed the ACC's shot at building a competitive conference by politicking their way in when nobody wanted them. They should've been left in the CUSA where they belong.

Actually I always thought VT and WVU should have been the three original expansion targets with Miami and not BC and Syracuse. Would have made for a much more interesting conference.

BT is one of the schools who care about football and have a great gameday environment. They don’t always do well because it’s not easy recruiting to the mountains of Virginia.

Few ACC schools that have a history, a very cool tradition, and a passionate fan base.
I hope they land on their feet and I would love for them to end up in the SEC with us.

seemed to immediately say "OK, we can stop being good at the football now, we are in a conference."
Had those two continued to be good, the ACC probably is viewed much more favorably as a conference, and probably also got a better TV deal this last time around.
