Lookout. Makuba on Twitter 5alking about how coaches that leave are praised but players get put down when they leave a school. Bad sign? I feel a transfer to OU or Texas coming.

You can bet your everything that he isn't the only one of those guys feeling betrayed. And if at any time BV told a single one of them that he would be there through they're college careers, they were betrayed, and by a grown up that his word has proved to be nothing more than a steaming pile of ########!!!!
And why would a player want to follow him to OU, he wouldn't be his DC at OU, he would be his HC. And how many times have we all seen some of the best coordinators in the country become head coaches, and completely fail, and are run off. If that happens to BV, and it could, that will mean that he bullshitted those kids over something he wasn't ready for. Coaches and players should have to sign a contract that they'll both be at the place they were at until they're contract is up. And if they don't sign a contract, that would let them both know up front that they may leave at any given day. Then it would be up to them to decide if they want to take that risk on each other!!!!

Well so far this week we have seen not great news. Betrayed how? Venables was here 10 years? The game has changed folks. If this kid dies leave our secondary is screwed. This is the best safety we have had in the Venables tenure.

Keeps progressing. The scheme isn’t changing so I don’t see a good decision leaving and taking his chances somewhere else.
Pretty simple to me

Jeffrey you said betrayed how? Venables was a vital part of mak's recruiting, he sold him on the fact that if he came here he'd be playing and learning under him, he is a 19 year old kid that's hurt that the guy he felt really wanted to coach him left, he isn't worrying about what venables did for cu for 10 years...he's thinking about himself and the fact the man he thought would be his dc for 2 more years just left...
We understand why venables left, we understand the business.
Mak is thinking on a personal level....he's hurt...I get it

He obviously doesn’t read the message boards. While BV/TE were praised by head coaches and administrators, they were also crucified by half of our fan base that didn’t want to see them leave. Not to mention the coaches gave many more years of their careers to clemson than transfer portal kids do

Oh come on claws. You're better than that, or at least I thought you were. I haven't read one post on Tnet or anywhere else that crucified BV for going to Oklahoma. A few on here did express they were happy Elliott was leaving. But it was a very few minor majority that expressed that sentiment all year. Half, give me a break.

There have been quite a few bashing BV. AllIn All Orange calling him “Rentables” numerous times in an extremely childish rant is the most memorable. Or the poster that went off in a rant Sunday night how BV didn’t even thank Dabo or Clemson in his first short comments to OU fans upon arrival at the airport Sunday night. Several others full of sour grapes when we saw announcements of coaches leaving or players decommitted that hope he never wins a game and gets fired come to mind as well. It’s been a small but very bitter group that really don’t represent Clemson well at all. Probably the same ones that bash players that decide to transfer so they can get playing time. You know, the kind of fans Saban was talking about in his rant a couple of weeks ago. We definitely have some of them and they have really come out this season and in the last couple of weeks.

Makuba is plenty smart enough to know that there are always a few boneheads no matter what. The vast majority of true Tiger fans accept the decisions of players and coaches that depart in a graceful manner. I suspect there are outsiders that are trying with all their might to tear down Clemson at this time of transition. Clemson's program is built on solid ground. Dabo is pretty darn smart also.

USF performs like a train wreck on the field. Not sure how much more time he’s going to get. They are not just losing, but getting crushed.

Players are praised after they contribute to a team for 3+ years, end on a good note, and have an opportunity to play professionally or to otherwise move on with their lives after football.
Coaches are praised after they contribute to a team for many years, end on a good note, and have an opportunity elsewhere for a higher paying job or to retire.
Neither is praised if they quit on their team or make a lateral or downward move to another school for selfish reasons.

Kids growing into men. Not all adults are “adults” and it’s not hard to find those fake men on social media. Makuba might already know this but it exist on every teams page snd in every teams fandom. Not so much fans as they are a nuisance to all true fans.
I will love Clemson no matter who the coaches are… No amount of idiots trashing Clemson or keyboard heroes typing BS will change that. It’s easy to be demeaning and put people down, the lazy man’s method. I’d prefer being nice, understanding decisions, and wishing good people the best in their future. I want all coaches and staff to stay stay but it’s not realistic and at some point Coach Dabo Swinney will leave and I’ll truly be sad. He is best thing to happen to Clemson in my lifetime.
Point being, stay the hell off social media!!

you are next leader in the secondary. The opportunity you have at far exceeds what is at other schools. Clemson has put a lot more DBs in the pros than they stick around and be THE star you can be here. We love you man
