How does everyone else feel? Ole miss and Alabama are ahead of them in playoff rankings and have the head to head. Hope they don’t have a chance to compete in the cfp ! Go tigers beat SMU

The playoff committee bends the knee to Alabama every time. I usually hate it, but this year I would not complain about it if it keeps SC out

You could maybe make the argument over bama bc their loss was so close and bama does have a really bad loss getting dominated by OU which scar does not have a loss like that… but it would be hard to put them in over ole miss when they lost 27-3 I believe

plus the Bama game was at Bama, while they played Ole Miss at home. I'd easily rank the trio Ole Miss, SC, Bama

I know the narrative of it being scar etc. But I try to remove that bias and look at what the committee has stated.
Body of work - check
Sor and sos- check
Main one before is how the teams have performed lately. The eye test.
Bama and ole miss lost late and looked bad in their last game against much inferior talent. SC ended the year 6 in a row and a win over a good Clemson team that's competing for a championship.
It was used the last couple of years to get Bama and osu etc into the playoffs. So yes, I think they should.

I don't disagree with this. No one is playing better than SC right now. Doubtful the committee would move them past Bama and Ole Miss. However, SC could benefit from Clemson winning the ACC. They could get a boost from a win over a conference champ.

Oh it would be fun to see a UGA-SC match up since we didn't have one this year. Would you be skeered AFDAWG. I would be after the way GT hung with the Dawgs.

at least not better than the ACC.
GT-Uga and Clem-SC were both one play games, very evenly matched.
But ironically, a Clemson win over SMU would likely bump all the 9-3's out. SMU should be in regardless with an 11-1 reg season.
