With what I saw last night. This was the opening game of the season with a lot of new faces. I assure you that with the coaching staff that Clemson has the team will improve each week. The Tigers now have some great film to watch of all the players and that is a big plus! A 31 point win on the road against a very old opponent is a good thing. I can remember many,many games with GT that ended differently in my sixty plus years of being a Tiger supporter. ( note- I didn’t say fan) This coaching staff has brought fame to Clemson that you can’t put a value on. Sit back and enjoy the ride. Dabo s got this ..... I promise.

I was pleased for the most part. DJ had some good moments and some that left me wondering. I believe the guy is a pure pocket passer and not the RPO type. Strong arm and can sling it to the sidelines from the opposite hash with no problem. Hit numerous receivers in the hands which were dropped. Collins and Williams are more than capable and looking forward to Randall getting in as well.

Biggest concern was RT. He seemed to get beat fairly often and DJ just cannot scramble.

Again first game the slow start brought me down but looked good in the 2nd half especially after the lead went down to 4.

I expect it to get better with more reps on offense but will never complain with a 31point win on the road. Just sharing some observations which most on here seen as well. Nothing that cannot be fixed for sure!

Excellent assessment. I was also a little frustrated early but it all worked out fine. My biggest concern is the play of the veteran WRs. Just didn’t see the energy or effort from Ngata and EJ. The younger receivers looked much better to me. I am a little concerned about the OL but I’m thinking (hoping) that this was first game issues and that they will improve as the season goes on. In the end we are 1-0 and that’s good. Go Tigers!

Always good to beat Georgia Tech. Some of my most painful memories have been watching them best us late in games. Overall happy but the O line and receivers just have to play better.
