The better question is, why in the H E L L did our leaders over our sports programs sign a 20 year GOR deal, that is totally insane IMO!!!!

It being 20 years isn’t the problem really. The problem is they didn’t insist that include checkpoints for renegotiation and goals and metrics that had to be met.

Well, the ACC came out smelling like a rose on that deal. Without the GOR getting signed, there would probably not be an ACC right now.

Right now, if some on TNET had their way, a desperate signing would happen "right now" as well.

Fear and anxiety got us here in the first place; so that's the very last thing we need to use in order to get out of a bad deal.
