I know this might be premature to say but I really think Cam would benefit one more year and get fully healthy and then go pro I’m sure he would get paid handsomely NIL wise if he came back! And a chance to get his draft stock back up as well. If he gets paid the right amount of NIL money it would almost be a little foolish to not come back he’s still a dang good player he’s just not who he was when he was healthy and it’s showing.

done 9 months ago? That's a serious surgery with a long recovery time. I wouldn't be surprised if he still has weakness in that arm.

Not the same Cam. Not even close, but he is gone. Juniors drafted almost never come back for their Senior season. You have no bargaining power as a Senior to negotiate with the major league team that drafts you.

NIL will change those stats as we saw several JRs across College comeback last year and year before. They are showing Cam as 2nd or 3rd round now and that could drop substantially when they see Cam barely able to throw a lob ball to 2nd base.

Might be wishful thinking but if he gets paid good NIL money I really don’t see a downside to coming back I’m not saying that’s what’s gonna happen but that’s my thought process on it.

He's definitely got something going on with the arm....maybe a sliver of hope he stays to get 100% healthy, but he's the best CF'er in the country as far as tracking balls down.

He hasn’t touched many FB’s in the upper part of the strike zone all year. Which tells me he’s got something going on with the shoulder that causes pain or discomfort in not only throwing, but going upward with his swing .
My guess is he’ll have to get something done after the season, a team drafting him will know that and take that into account in not only draft status, but signing bonus $.
If he’s round 5 or above. he’ll get round 3 signing bonus $.
If he’s round 2, he’ll still probably be offered round 3 or 4 signing bonus $ due to the injury.

He really looks like he has a torn rotator cuff. I have had issues with both mine and when they are injured, anything above pec high hurts badly. Then not using that motion compounds because your shoulder muscles weaken from lack of use. I am pretty sure he needs more rehab or another surgery to clean things up.
